Paul began his legal practice primarily defending doctors, hospitals and other health care providers in medical malpractice actions. This experience has been of great value in developing an understanding of the defense perspective in civil litigation, learning the various aspects of medicine and evaluating injury claims.
In addition to his involvement in medical malpractice litigation, Paul has experience in other areas of civil litigation. These include the representation of physicians, nurses, psychologists and other health care providers in California licensing board matters in which the health care provider's career, reputation and livelihood are at stake. He has experience representing individuals in many other types of cases such as products liability, personal injury, sexual abuse, medical malpractice, elder abuse/nursing home injury and other areas involving death and serious injury.
